Catching up with Egypt (2)

As the title says it all, this is the continuation of the previous post. Which mainly will be about pictures.

This time, we were visiting only Cairo for one whole day. It was, believe it or not, exhausting. Why? Considering the parent had gone home, my eldest sister was committed to spending her leftover energy for shopping. If you think Jalan TAR is already tiring, this is Jalan TAR, Central Market, Chow Kit and Petaling Street combined. Imagine my relief.

But, before that, we went to the biggest Citadel in Egypt, probably quite the same size as Edinburgh Castle, but they did not open every section as some of them were still under construction. Talking about ripping tourists' money off, huh?
The first mosque inside the citadel, Mosque of Muhammad el-Nasir. All of the spaces you see there (with and without roof) are praying area. No shoes allowed inside. And you can pray if you want to.
The National Military Museum. Believe me, I've waited a long time for them to leave, but the thing about the locals, they are 'super' friendly, they'd want to be in your pictures too, acting all natural.
This just reminded me of the Clash of Clan, oh well.
Background is Cairo City. Pretty, no?
And below here is the inside of Mosque Suleyman Pasha, resemblance of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.

The front view of Suleyman Pasha mosque. Pardon my huge face there.
I, too, wanted a tourist pose without holding the monopod hehe :)
Those are the desert mountain where a part of it is filled with graves, and a part of it is a telecommunication center, and other parts are still unused.
The whole of Citadel from the entrance.

Outside of the Suleyman Pasha Mosque, ablution square.

Hope you enjoyed, whosoever reading :)
