Scotland: Edinburgh (the castle and whereabouts)

Assalamualaikum and hello :)

This post will be all about Edinburgh.
MashaAllah it's taking me forever to finish the posts on Scotland. Didn't even remember that I took so many photos, or even went to that many places for that matter.
So this will be a pictures-and-captions post.

That's me holding Edinburgh's map. Oh, we're in a bus if you can't tell haha.
Stopped at the tourists information centre to start our journey circling Edinburgh. And because everybody starts here too, so we're being typical. Dah kata first time hehe.
Simply.
And she wants it too, but she was distracted by the bus haha.

The Balmoral.
The court house.

On the bridge to the other side of Edinburgh.
Starting the long, long walking journey to the famous Edinburgh Castle.
I think the pathway was about three kilometers.
There were shop lots at every side of the path, and you can find almost anything there. Not to mention the buildings are colourful, which are really pretty :D
Lookie look! There's Subway!

As usual, Kakak Amni.
Street performance. I think he was doing a magic trick.
Adam Smith the philosopher statue in the middle of all the buildings.
A church.
The City Chambers.
Street stalls I love!
Street paintings.

I don't remember what this is haha.
The West Parliament House.
"A wee gift from Scotland". Wee is an original Scotland's word for 'little', did you know? Hehe how cute.
Look at the bus! I rode one just like it in Glasgow.
More shop lots.

Look carefully, it's invisible man! Put in some coins and he'll move!

Finally, the castle!
Taking the chance to snap some pictures while waiting for the guard shifting.
And here it is! They wear skirts hehe.
Ticket counter. Remember, show your student ID for discounts! :)
And Welcome to Edinburgh Castle.
Those are the history polls, you can either read or listen to it.

The fort.
View from the front balcony.
The grand cannon.

That's the cafe. Everybody has got to eat some time.

This is a compulsory shot, trust me. Everybody takes one! Haha.
View from the back balcony.
And she wants to be in it too.
Waiting for the history screening.

Ready to shift again. They walked all the way from inside the castle to the outside, just for show. Haha.

Miniatures. So bleeping cute!

The three musketeers? Idk haha.
Dragoon was no typo.

This castle is so big, we walked scattered all around without the map.

Cak! Hehe.

'To the glory of God & in memory of Scots who fell 1914 - 1918'. They kept the list of men served for this country inside this building, and some of their histories. Unfortunately, no cameras allowed.

Ghost of me hehe.
The coolest bunk beds.

The old school prison.
The new school prison.

She's always excited, everywhere.
It's pretty cozy for a prison, don't you think?

The largest cannon in the castle.

Going up! To the inside of the castle building.
Tangga pusing-pusing.

It's so pretty!
And we're outside of the castle already. Phewh it was tiring.

Walking, walking, and walking again.
To the next stop!
Bank or Hotel?
Other tourists.
The Parliament house from afar.

The building looks like a cow! Hahaha.

Everyone just have to have one.
My favourite shot hehe :D

Next Post: Loch Lomond
