The World's Greatest Burger

To those who watched 'How I Met Your Mother', you guys must have known the episode of 'The World's Greatest Burger' from season four. And how the burgers in the drama makes you want to have some just right this instant!

I remembered leaving home with the smell of the Acapulco Spur Steak Ranch in PJ, wafting all around. The smell meant fun weekend and if we were lucky, our parents would actually take us there for burger and chips.

This is no McDonalds or Burger King burger and chips but a mouth watering 160g of 100% AAA ground beef flame grilled to perfection and topped with, well, almost anything you like including mushroom sauce, cheese, pineapple, garlic sauce, cheese sauce, bacon and guacamole. Chips and onion rings come as standard but if you prefer, you can substitute them for baked potato and vege or a side salad from their freshly prepared salad bar. If burgers aren’t your thing there is also a great selection of steaks as well as seafood, ribs, chicken and a selection of Mexican food available on the menu.

It is not the fanciest restaurant or even steak house but a great family favourite that offers value for money and fills the belly in an oh so satisfying way.

This is not meant to be an advert but I do truly miss the Spur .So. Much. And for some twisted fate, I am now eating custom made Ramly burger. Sigh.
